2019 Carrodus Shiraz
Fragrant violet perfume, black plums with a side of cured meats. The palate has beautiful density of fruit, liquorice and a slate-graphite minerality. The cool climate acidity bringing an energy and brightness to the palate even in a warm year like 2019 which will carry it through many years of cellaring. A solid framework of oak tannins perfectly balanced with the intense fruit flavour and a layered texture. The persistence of the elegant flavour profile lingers for an age.
